Salvage to Spectacle

One-off commissions and creative projects

Alongside my numerous collections and ongoing exhibition work sits a shelf of pieces that don't belong to any single story: one-off, hand-crafted garments made simply because someone deserved something extraordinary. Some started as clothes made for my own daughter as a small child, worked and reworked from whatever fabric was on hand until they became more like wearable sculpture than clothing.

Others were commissions for other families, including a few pieces made for Ellie Goulding's new baby girl. Each is built the same way everything I make is: entirely from reused textiles, deadstock fabric, and broken garments, cut, refined, and finished by hand to a couture standard, made to let a child feel as extraordinary on the outside as they already are within.

Below, a few of these one-off pieces, each with its own short story.
